Major Internet Poker Firms on Belgian Government Blacklist
Officials ISP-block unlicensed operators Belgian government officials blacklisted major internet gambling companies like Chilipoker, Titan, Everest Poker and 888 for unlicensed access to the Belgian online gambling market. Belgium's main Internet Service Providers have been informed about the blacklist, and consequently will be required, under the country's new regulatory regime, to block the access to Belgian residents. According to media reports, Bwin.party digital entertainment apparently managed to avoid inclusion on the black list despite the size of its Party Poker operation. The possible reason might be that internet gambling giant has indicated an intention to apply for the license regardless of its earlier objection about the Belgian regulations being in conflict with the European Union principles and laws.
