Monte Carlo hosts an epic tournament This week saw the end of the big PokerStars Euro 25,000 buy-in European Poker Tour Grand Final High Roller which was finalized with a glorious heads-up between Igor Kurganov and Daniel Negreanu. Apart from the two, the final table comprised Justin Bonomo, Philipp Gruissem, Artem Litvinov, Noah Schwartz, Nathan Schoo and Max Lykov. However, the half an hour heads up was the best part of the day, with the chip lead changing hands a couple of times, until Kurganov beat Negreanu to the winner's prize of Euro 1,08 million - his biggest payday yet. He left Negreanu with a nice comforting runner-up prize of Euro 598,600.
