It's here! PokerStars has just officially launched Zoom Poker, a fast paced ring game format offering players the ability to play poker at lightening speeds. With Zoom Poker it is possible to take part in hundreds of hands played per hour.
To get started, simply join a pool of players within your game of choice and stake level. The game is played as your typical ring game with one exception. The moment you fold your hand, you are placed at another table with a brand new set of opponents from the same pool.
“Zoom Poker offers people a different way to play poker,” says Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu. “Recreational players, who want more constant action, will be able to fold instantly and wait for better hands, while pro grinders will be able to get hundreds of more hands an hour and win more!”
This launch is subsequent to the beta release back in March which generated more than 300 million hands with stakes ranging from $0.02/$0.05 - $2.50/$5. This release includes additional games including Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo and Five Card Draw.
Players that utilize the PokerStars mobile application may also access Zoom Poker on their Android platform.
