Stan James To Offer Speed Poker
Microgaming-launched Blaze Poker has its first licensee... The internet poker wing of Gibraltar-based online bookie Stan James plc, has now entered into amazingly popular speed poker market initiated by Full Tilt Poker with its Rush Poker innovation. The product branded as Blaze Poker will be launched on Microgaming Poker Network, and it will be competing with Pokerstars' Zoom product which was formally launched in real money format this week. There are more competitors in the crowded speed poker space such as Relax Gaming with its Fast Poker offering as well as Instadeal, being around since 2010. Relax Gaming is obviously moving forward having signed up Betsafe this week and Unibet, Betsson and iGame last month. The model introduced by FTP is actually followed by most speed poker products: fast action ring games providing players with more hands in less time - once a player folds their hand, he or she is instantly re-seated at another table with a new set of players from the same pool. As for Blaze, it will provide players multi-table capability with a fast fold on-screen button if the desire is to fold and move on. There is a 'sit-out' check box as well the possibility for the player to move to an empty table until he or she decides to get back into action. The types of game and the stakes available haven't been announced yet.
