Skins get permission to offer rakeback from June 1.
The latest reports from Merge Gaming poker network brought news that the network is to allow its skins to offer rakeback to new players again effective June 1.
It has been stated in the media that: "The announcement comes almost one year to the day [since] the top U.S. facing poker network halted rakeback for new players in the wake of Black Friday. Merge Gaming will allow the same 35 percent contributed rakeback through rakeback providers that was offered prior to June 1st.”
Industry observers also noted that the move comes on the heels of Lock Poker's purchase of the Cake Poker Network and the subsequent increase of rakeback to 36 percent from June 1st.
As it appears, Merge flagship Carbon Poker, along with Aced and PDC Poker will be among those offering rakeback to players, and the network spokesperson stated that Merge will credit player accounts daily.
