First WSOP Event Goes to California Blackjack Dealer
$500 buy-in Casino Empoyees competition won by Chiab Saechao This week saw the end of the first of the 2012 World Series of Poker events, at which the honors, the winners' bracelets and the main prize went to California blackjack dealer Chiab Saechao. Saechao bested the field of 732 hopefuls who entered the $500 buy-in Casino Employees event and beat them to the main prize of $70,859. To get there, he had to outplay Florida dealer Patricia Baker in the heads up, which brought Baker a runner up prize worth $43,754.
