The event saw 113 entrants who generated a prize pool of Euro 1,107,400. The final table that took an extra day to reach comprised Rettenmaier and his heads-up opponent Fabian Quoss, Finnish ace Juha Helppi, Philippe Ktorza, Sorel Mizzi, recent WPT Prague victor Marcin Wydrowski, Jason Mercier, Andrey Gulyy and Aubin Cazals. The remaining two survivors went to a tough, two hour heads up which resulted in Rettenmaier's win and Quoss's settling for a runner-up pay check worth Euro 210,300. In related news, the main event of the tourney wrapped up with the win of fabulous Swede Ramzi Jelassi, who managed to shine among 863 entrants and take the main prize after six days, a 14 hour final table, and a three way chop negotiations. Namely, after a final table that comprised Jelassi, Sotirios Koutoupas, David Boyaciyan, Ben Warrington, Diego Gomez, Sergey Kuzminskiy, Aleh Plauski and Mark Herm reduced to just Jelassi, Koutoupas and Boyaciyan, the trio negotiated on a three-way chop, which would see saw Holland's Boyaciyan take Euro 415,000. However, he wanted more than this, so the play resumed and saw him eliminated in third place, which earned him significantly less - Euro 310,000. With this, Koutoupas and Jelassi continued their fight for the Euro 835,000 main prize, which in the end fell into the Swede's hands. Despite his stellar performance, Koutoupas had to go home with the runner up prize of Euro 510,000.
