In February next year, the Austrian capital Vienna will host two popular events expected to attract many talented and skilled people including the experienced poker players.
Namely, the forthcoming Vienna Mind Sports Festival will yet again add poker to the array of featured smart gaming pursuits such as chess, backgammon, risk, scrabble and similar, confirming the view that poker is a game in which skill and smarts are of key importance.
According to the organizers of the festival, Mind Sports International, the genre is defined as a pursuit that does not necessarily demand physical ability or expensive equipment, and one that can be enjoyed anyplace. The main objective is to encourage intellectual development through social interaction on mentally challenging games.
In parallel to the festival scheduled for February 11 to 25, the World Poker Tour tournament will also take place in Vienna guaranteeing a lot of fun for all poker connoisseurs.
