Microsoft to Launch New Windows 8-Compatible Poker Game

Good news from Microsoft arrived this week when it was reported that the company has prepared a new poker game on the Windows 8 platform, offering Xbox Live support to play with real competitors online.

The game currently in the pipeline is dubbed World Series of Poker: Full House Pro and it will be available free of charge in the Windows Store from this spring (northern hemisphere).

To top the great offer, a free stack of chips will be given to each user every day, and apart from offering support for both Xbox 360 and Windows 8 platforms, the game will also involve single player games for those who wish to improve their skills before going online.

Players will be able to choose their own avatars and enjoy the commentary from World Series of Poker on ESPN announcers Lon McEachern and Norman Chad.
