The $1,000 buy-in 2013 PokerStars Latin American Poker Tour Chile main event has been finished, and the honors belong to Argentina's Pablo Alexander Tavitian who outplayed a record field of 765 entrants with 259 re-entries, taking a lion's share of a $993,000 prize pool. At the final table, Tavitian and Sebastian Marcel Miranda, Alejandro Chokakis, Leonardo Martins, Jaime Zamanillo Mayol, Sergio Braga, Fernando Javier Gordo and Jose "Nacho" Barbero. However, even though Mayol held the chip lead at the beginning of the final table, the heads up saw Tavitian and Leonardo Martins emerge as winner and runner-up, respectively, with the latter winning $117,200 for his trouble.
