A new deal has been closed between the 888 group and its existing partner Caesars Entertainment thanks to which 888Poker will become the primary sponsor of live stream coverage on the upcoming 2013 WSOP Asia Pacific and WSOP tournaments.
888poker (.tv), and the official WSOP (dotcom) sites will feature the live streaming as well as the website of the second sponsor PokerListings, which will also supply live updates from all five of the WSOP APAC bracelet events, the Caesars Cup and the $50,000 High Roller as well as WSOP Europe in Paris between October 11-24, 2013.
Furthermore, it has been specified that 888Poker (dotcom) will be running online satellite events for both the WSOP APAC and the WSOP Europe, and its director Gareth Edwards said: 'This is a great fit on several different levels. PokerListings is a major global poker brand in its own right with sites in 11 languages and a long history of tournament reporting back to the 2005 WSOP Main Event.
'That kind of breadth and knowledge is irreplaceable in poker. And the team they've put together for this event has an extensive history with both the game's superstars and the local players.'
