An announcement was made this week by online gambling group Playtech plc, the owner of the iPoker Network, that its poker software will experience a significant upgrade in the coming weeks.
Some of the boosts in the update will include new iOS and HTML5 apps, a new multi-tiered VIP system, re-designed mobile clients and fresh tournament structures.
In addition, there will be up to 54 different VIP tiers with matching benefits, and the tournaments will include new shoot out and heads up tournament formats, both in SNG and scheduled tournaments.
