The victory in the main event of the $2,700 buy-in Asia Pacific Poker Tour leg in the Philippines belongs to Aussie poker pro Khac Trung Tran who outplayed a field of 205 players and made his way to the $124,000 main prize.
His road to glory was paved with hardships, though, as he faced an excellent final table that comprised Thang Truong, Sekiya Yosuke, Nam Le, Homad Houshiar, Anthony Gabitan, Miller Zhang, Tam Truong and Pakihal Lisawad.
In the heads-up, he faced Thang Truong whom he dispatched after just a few hands, sending him home with a second placing reward of $71,600.
