The $25,000 buy-in World Poker Tour Championship ended on a good note for the renowned and sometimes controversial poker pro Chino Rheem who ended up taking his second WPT title along with a prize of $1,150,297.
His chip lead at the beginning of a tough final table kept him alive throughout the action - Rheem was several million chips ahead of his nearest rival, which enabled him to dominate the action.
His opponents at the final table included Jonathan Roy, David Peters, Erick Lindgren, Brandon Steven and Matt Hyman, and it took just over 258 hands to determine the winner.
The heads-up saw a clash between Eric Lindgren and Rheem, whose 3 to 1 chip lead allowed him to send his formidable opponent home with the runner-up prize of $650,275 after some 100 hands of intense action.
