Recreational Poker Players Targeted by PAF
Recreational players will find the offering that resulted from the cooperation between Finnish gambling monopoly Alands Penningautomatforening (PAF) and Microgaming's MPN online poker network very appealing, as one of its aims was to make the access to the game easier for novice players. According to PAF, a new online poker offering will be premiered, featuring a softer approach to the classic game and including helpful instruction videos and full-service guidance. As Herbert Paradis, head of poker @ PAF explained: “Beginners should be able to learn to play poker at their own pace and on a suitable level together with their poker peers.” But Microgaming software is not the only one offered by PAF – it also has the content of Ongame and IPN from Boss Media available, thus providing a wider choice to its customers. It has been noted by Anders Wiklund, a director of PAF, that what the company's trying to do is make poker "...a friendly place for hanging out and having fun with friends." “PAF wants to offer something new and unique, something that is non-exclusive in that it suits all players. We believe that this is where the growth potential is,” he added.
