The 2013 World Poker Tour Borgata Poker Open saw 1,189 entries in the $3,500 no-limit hold'em main event resulting in a $3,805,989 prize pool. 31-year-old Anthony Zinno, from Cranston, Rhode Island, was the last man standing after six days. He won his first WPT title, $825,099 in cash and 1,440 Card Player Player of the Year points. Zinno made his 5th final table this year and his consistency throughout the year has brought him to 19th place in the overall standings in the POY race, with 2,192 points and $935,842 in year-to-date earnings. Zinno topped a large group of hopefuls to earn this title including some of the industry's top pros who made deep runs in the event, including Dan Heimiller (13th – $30,312), Cliff Josephy (9th – $69,528), and runner-up Vanessa Selbst, who finished runner-up for $492,569 and 1,200 POY points.
