Third Million Dollar Win for Brian Rast
Some of the biggest names in the poker industry were among the 22 players who paid $100,000 to buy-in to the 2013 World Poker Tour Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic High Roller this week. The event had a $2,167,000 total prize pool with participants such as Antonio Esfandiari, Marvin Rettenmaier, Justin Bonomo and Chris Klodnicki. It was Eric Seidel, Brian Rast and Roger Sippl battling it out. Sippl took home the third place prize which was still a generous chunk of change at $433,400. In the end, Rast faced off against Seidel and eventually knocked him out. Seidel took a prize of $650,100 while Rast took the top spot and top prize of $1,083,500 bringing his total winnings to a grand total of around $6 million.
