WagerLogic Withdraws InterPoker from Canadian Market
The industry is searching for answers as to why InterPoker owners WagerLogic have withdrawn from the Canadian market. Affiliates were notified via email this week that it would allow no further new registrations nor deposits from existing Canadian players but no explanation was given for this decision. EuroPartners, was the first to pull its Playtech-powered services from the Canadian market and there was no explanation given there either. Amaya gaming announced in October that it was selling off WagerLogic Malta Holdings Ltd. and three online gambling brands to a Canada-based company. Back in October, Amaya CEO David Baazov said: "The proposed sale of these business-to-consumer assets is consistent with our strategy of focusing primarily on being a single source business-to-business supplier of diversified gaming solutions to gaming operators. We anticipate this divestiture will allow us to expand our existing relationships and cultivate new ones with online gaming operators." Do these companies know something we don't?
