Two of the UK's top players are up for the award of 'Best Online Cash Player' at the March 2rd British Poker Awards ceremony.
Alex 'Kanu7' Millar and Matt 'MUSTAFABET' Ashton had a fantastic 2013 and may be recognized this year at the Hippodrome Casino in London.
Millar was rather unknown prior to his success against some heavy hitters during a heads up games in 2013.
Ashton has a career online and topped it off with a $2million win in Las Vegas and his first bracelet in the summer of 2013.
The shortlist also includes Ben 'Milkybarkid' Grundy, Rob 'Vaga_Lion' Akery and David 'SexyGee' Gent.
The awards are sponsored by PokerStars.com and will feature 18 categories. The public may purchase tickets to the event which go on sale next week.
