The 8th WSOP event, $1,500 buy-in Millionaire Maker, drew in the largest number of participants since 2006 with a total of 7,977 hopefuls, a $10,768,950 prize pool a top prize exceeding $1.3 million.
Due to the large number of registrants, the action will likely continue into Tuesday.
As of Monday morning there were just 334 players remaining including Spanish pro and two-time WSOP bracelet holder Hugo Brenes who was knocked out by Chris DeMaci.
