PokerStars has released its version 7 in full after the completion of beta testing making it available for download and upgrade.
Players on the .com and .eu platforms will be automatically upgraded but if you prefer PokerStars 6, players can go back to this version by making a change their 'Settings'.
Players had the option to upgrade to PokerStars 7 since August and over 120,000 players made use of the improvements that are not available in version 6.
Lee Jones, PokerStars' head of communications, said, “I am delighted to see PS7 coming out of its beta phase and becoming the default software for all players on our .COM and .EU sites. I have been using PS7 since it first peeked out of the development shop and it's a joy to use.
“Like all good software, this product has been through the wringer before we've made it the default for our customers. Right now, 10-15 percent of the people playing on the .COM site are using PS7. That means that all the unusual configurations and settings have been tested – when you fire up PS7 you'll be running on a solid, well-tested piece of software.”

I switched to new version, its great I must say. I like new tournament filters. dont know if you guys noticed, but there was a big sitout, that was aranged buy true grinders. They wanted to tell in that way that new rake system is not for players, its for gamblers. Its sad that PS is turning into money printer..

I would like ffrom them to enter more freeroll tournaments. They are one of the most famous pooker rooms, and they have realy small number of tournaments for new players. I can agree with Milan, that they are greedy, and they must improve their mobile applications also. I want to play their games on my Lumia

PokerStars have made a big changes recently. They have released new client, they made changes with rake system. I think that they are focused more on fishy gamblers than on real poker grinders, who find it unable to do anything with this rake system. PS is getting greedy and noone likes that..
