PokerStars has achieved another milestone and celebrates its billionth tournament with a $109 buy-in tournament featuring a guaranteed $2 million prize pool.
The event attracted 34,081 players and generated a prize pool of more than $3.4 million.
Within hours of the kickoff of the tournament, an Uruguayan player "kofi89" took first place taking home $329,586. A German player known as "kaveh001" came in second with $241,566.
