PokerStars has pulled its real money online casino from the Spanish market after its launch two months ago.
Not to worry though, the company will be working on technical issues to meet local regulatory requirements before re-launching in the next couple of weeks.
Those in the industry have pointed out that the casino hasn't been as successful among Spanish players as the company had hoped, which may be a result of no bonuses and the lack of a rewards program.
Spanish regulations are tight making it a difficult market to break in to. Operators are subject to high licensing fees and a 25 percent tax on gross on gaming revenue.
