Back The Hendon Mob Database to File Case Against Polish Government

Global Poker Index, the owners of The Hendon Mob database, is taking action against the Polish government for going using a bot in search of information, a violation of the site's terms and conditions.

The case will be aimed at Poland's Ministry of Finance according to GPI chief exec Alexandre Dreyfus.

Dreyfus revealed that GPI had been monitoring Polish activity on its Hendon Mob database since the end of December and noted a bot coming originating from the servers of mf.gov.pl that has been combing the site. The bot was blocked after intentionally being fed false data,

The use of the bot in in clear violation of Hendon Mob's terms and conditions under the "Intellectual Property" section.

Dreyfus made a post on Twitter Monday evening threatening to take legal action and encouraging the Polish Finance Minister to put a stop to the actions and warned that the government has fed flawed information.

Poland's deputy finance minister, Jacek Kapica, claimed that he had no knowledge of the bot and was on vacation so it's quite likely that the Polish government is aware of Dreyfus' statement.
