Microgaming has released its new product, BabelFish, for poker software.
The Babelfish API allows software developers to customize their poker software to support any language and join the MPN's cash games and tournaments for real and fun play.
'Babelfish is definitely a game changer for poker,' said Alex Scott, Head of Poker at Microgaming. 'It allows operators to customise their poker software to a higher degree than has ever been possible before, without having to go standalone.
'And the features are impressive. Babelfish allows operators to build software for any device - from specific mobile devices, to games consoles, to smart TVs.
'If you were so inclined, you could even build poker software for a smartwatch, a connected fridge or an in-car entertainment system. The only limit is your imagination.'
A major operated, who has yet to be announced, will be the first to feature Babelfish.
'With this new operator on board, our network will grow significantly,' Scott said. 'But this is not the only exciting news that the MPN has for 2015. This year we want to be at the pinnacle of the poker industry - this is just the first step!'

Well, recently played a bit of cash games at 32red, which use MPN. To be honest, software is very bad, much more worse than ipoker, and not saying about full tilt and pokerstars. Hope this release help operators to do some changes, and make software a bit more players friendly. Lagging on good PC with 5 opened tables it is not something i am waiting from poker software.
