2015 Paf Poker Challenge to Take Place in May

One of Europe's best tournaments is right around the corner. It has just been announced that the 11th Paf Poker Challenge (PPC) will take place in May, from the 14th to the 17th. Having been taking place annually for the last ten years, the PPC has established quite a reputation among the gaming community. A number of players return to the event each year to enjoy the high-quality live poker experience that it promises. This year, it is scheduled to take place in Mariehamn, at Hotel Arkipelag, which also serves as the location for the Paf Casino. Last year, the PPC congratulated the skillful tournament winner, Georgios Charmpilas, hailing from Greece. The lucky winner played his way through a total of 142 players, walking away with the first prize of 32,500 euros. Competitors can expect the standard prize pool of a guaranteed 100,000 euros. There is a full qualification package, which is worth 1,500 euros, and also includes the buy-in to the main tournament, 100 euros worth of travel cash, and a three night stay in a double room to accommodate two people. Customers may also participate in daily online qualifiers in Paf Poker, in which they can quickly progress from freerolls to 320-dollar tickets in four stages. Each Wednesday and Sunday, finals take place at 20:00 CET. As an online qualifier, an individual will earn the privilege of participating in the 'Last Longer' competition during the tournament. This year's prize for whoever lasts longest is a Paf Poker Challenge package for 2016. In addition to the main event, those who attend will also have access to an assortment of side tournaments, cash games and other opportunities for entertainment, making for an all-around, fun-filled experience.
