This week's Sky Poker UK Poker Championship at the Dusk Til Dawn facility in Nottingham has been declared a success after a generous million pound guarantee boost to the prize pool made by the DTD owner Rob Yong. The GBP 1,100 buy-in championship has seen 813 entrants with Brit pro Fraser Bellamy from Sheffield besting the large entry field, making it to the final table. Fraser was victorious taking home the main prize of GBP 200,000. He ultimately had to beat Chris Vernon, David Lloyd, Matas Cimbolas, Tom Hall (chip leader), Farhaan Khan, Jamie Clossick, Jonathan Kalmar and Dewi James facing them at the final table. Bellamy held a solid 3 to 1 chip lead on Chris Vernon as the game entered the heads up stage, sending Vernon home with a second prize of GBP 120,000.
