Jim "The Doctor" Psaros, 56, was the last man standing in the Australia New Zealand Poker Tour main event on Monday among a field of 444 participants taking A$183,000.
Psaros took a seat at the final table with other players such as Emanuel Seal, Denis Sekuloski, Murray Roach, Li-Tsa Hsu, Zhi Hong Ma, Tom Rafferty, Shaneel Chand and Chung Liew.
Sekuloski went out in third place taking A$90,000.
Psaros went into the heads up against Seal as the chip leader but it wasn't long before it was anybody's game. They pair agreed to a two-way chop of A$175,000 apiece leaving A$8,000 for the winner.
Another 30 minutes elapsed and Psaros emerged as the winner.
