Jason Mercier has won his 3rd Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) event on Sunday with the $2,100 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em 4-Maxcompetition having defeated Canadian pro Ryan Franklin in the heads up.
The event drew in 398 participants generating a $796,000 prize pool. Mercier took his largest win so far with $178,457.73 after agreeing to a two-way chop with Franklin.
Mercier started the heads up in the lead and carried through to the end putting Franklin home with $152,789.71.
