British Player Wins PartyPoker Grand Prix Million
Rob Yong's Dusk Til Dawn was down $275,000 after buy-ins for the one million dollar guarantee on the PartyPoker Grand Prix Million prize pool failed to meet the target. Amateur British player Antonius Samuel took first prize of $100,000 after taking down 7,248 players at Dusk Til Dawn. The last day saw Samuel take on another British player, Stacy Coore, following the elimination of Tasos Grigoriou, who took 3rd place prize of $45,000. The heads up wasn't long when Samuel knocked Coore out with 2nd prize of $65,000. Although he hadn't won, Lee Connett, won a seat to the event on a penny and took 17th place for $5,500. Final table payouts: Antonius Samuel – $100,000 Stacy Coore – $65,000 Tasos Grigoriou – $45,000 Nadeem Ali – $35,000 Vlad Alexandru Lazariciu – $26,350 Daniel Harwood – $19,000 Kuljinder Sidhu – $13,500 Patrick Sunter – $10,000 Bartosz Przewiezlikowski – $8,000
