World Series of Poker Event 40, a $1,000 buy-in Seniors NLHE Championship, saw 50-year-old amateur player Travis Baker take top prize of $613,466 and his first winner's bracelet. Baker is a construction company manager from Oklahoma and took down a field of 4,193 entrants, which generated a prize pool of $3.77 million. The final table lasted 124 hands with four players knocked out in just over 30 minutes. Baker entered a 5-hour heads up against Carl Torelli, a retired Wall Street investor who live in Nevada. Torelli walked away with a hefty runner up prize of $378,766.
