Aussie Pro Becomes First 2-Time APPT Main Event Winner
29-year-old Aaron Lim of Australia is the first APPT player to win two main events. Taking part in APPT Manila this week, Lim took down a field of 584 participants to win his $131,780 share of the $558,000 prize pool as the winner of the heads up against Swedish pro Per Olsson. As part of his winnings, Lim also received a HK$ 100,000 entry to the 2015 ACOP Main Event. He had previously won the APPT main event in Seoul two years ago. He has also been awarded a WSOP bracelet and has built up $2 million in live tournament winnings over the course of his poker career.
