With summer coming to a close in the northern hemisphere, 888Poker prepares for the anticipated boost in online poker activity.
The operator has hiked its guaranteed prize pools on 13 of its top tournaments in the last two weeks, which gives players the opportunity to win a piece of higher guarantees via Special Edition events.
Activity is increasing and players are pleased with the adjustments.
This week players will see more increases in Special Edition prize pool guarantees including the Whale tournament, which will see the guarantee go from $50,000 to $200,000; Mega Deep going from $20,000 to $120,000; and the Sunday Challenge up $25k to $100,000.

Boosting the guaranteed prizes is a very cool idea because Your long-term chances are growing as well to win For example Mega Deep's prize pool went from USD 25,000 to USD 120,000 which is 4,8x but the number of participants didn't grow with the same ratio.

888 poker going nice road recently. I need to say that it is best poker room for newbie players, because there is a lot of fishes according to my experience. So this tournaments prize pool boost i really awesome and i think it will increase tournaments traffic. Well, sometimes i am thinking to back in poker , but not enough...
