A 25-year-old Alex Komaromi of Uruguay won the World Series of Poker Europe Euro 2,200 8-Game Mixed event on Thursday in Berlin scoring his first winner's bracelet and top prize of Euro 65,740. Scott Clements, Noah Bronstein, Jonathan Duhamel, Shaun Deeb and Jens Lakemeier also took part in the event but were eliminated leaving Komaromi to become the first player from Uruguay to claim a WSOP winner's bracelet. Bronstein came in third for Euro 29,200 leading to the heads up round between Komaromi and Scott Clements, who took 2nd place with $40,645. Duhamel placed 4th with Euro 21,065 and Deeb took $15,235 in 5th place. Barney Boatman of the UK won his second bracelet in WSOPE Berlin, the Euro 550 buy-in PLO, and first place prize of Euro 54,725. The final table include Boatman, Doug Lee, Polish players Grzegorz Grochulski, Dominik Maska and Pawel Bakiewicz, Shannon Shor and Jose Obedia.
