November Nine: Pierre Neuville, Federico Butteroni and Patrick Chan Eliminated
72-year-old Belgian player, Pierre Neuville, is the oldest man out of the WSOP Main Event Final Nine and was eliminated in 7th place by Joe McKeehen, 24. Neuville entered the final with fourth in chip stacks but was unable to hold his own against McKeehen. He walked away with an impressive 7th place check for $1,203,293. His downfall began with a clash with Neil Blumenfeld, which chipped away at his stack and caused him to play extremely cautiously. Neuville bet on just two hands if the 34 dealt before his elimination by McKeehen. McKeehan also knocked out two fellow final tablers, Federico Butteroni, 25, of Italy and Patrick Chan, 26, from New York within the first three hours of the tournament putting them in 8th and 9th place respectively.
