Final Episodes of Living the Dream Poker Blog Posted

The Living the Dream poker team is at it again, having posted episode 3 and 4 on the Living the Dream Poker Blog. The five players, Chris Perkins, Tim O'Keefe, John Curcuru, Elena Stover, and Gabor Kresco, having detailed their experiences so others can live vicariously through them as they competed in the TKPT St Maarten tournament in the Caribbean through May 1st. Unfortunately, none of the players made it past Day 2. On the bright side, they were able to take advantage of the beautiful weather, and enjoy catching up with friends. While the team did not make it to the final table, some of their friends did. In fact, friend of Chris, Brian Kulp, advanced to the final table as the chip leader, while Akash Mazumdar, who participated in the TKPT St Maarten as an Intertops satellite tournament winner last year, went on to win the tournament for the second time, taking away $17,000. Kulp finished in 4th place with a $670 win. Player John Curcuru, discussed a particular ruling on Day 2, which ended up helping him out a bit: “It was a natural raise in any kind of casino any place else but the dealer said right away 'sir, that's not a raise'. I was unhappy with the ruling, but it turned out to be in my favor because the guy to my left had pocket Kings and he was just waiting for the ruling to be over with!” When it was all over, players spent their final days in paradise singing karaoke, zip lining, and attending the 'One Love' reggae night carnival celebrations in St Maarten.
