PokerStars Announces 2nd $1 Million Freeroll
Poker free rolls are nothing new in the online poker world. They have been one of the best methods of attracting new players to sites pretty much since online poker was created. Back in the good old days, free rolls were worth playing, and you could win a prize worth talking about. I can personally remember playing Noble Poker free rolls when the site first launched. You could easily win $200 every day in their free rolls. Noble Poker is now Titan Poker for those not as old myself to remember the golden days of online poker. In today's world of free rolls, you're lucky to win $10 for first place. And that's after beating out thousands of other players. In short, free rolls have become somewhat of a joke and lost their appeal. Yet sites still pump them out on a daily basis. And people still play them. PokerStars is always known for having the best when it comes to online poker. They have the best tournaments, games, software; and of course – the best free rolls. Every once in a while, they decide to throw a freeroll party for one reason or another. A while back they held the largest ever freeroll with $1 million in prizes. Obviously this attracted a large field of thousands, upon thousands of players. It was a big success. So much of a success, they are doing it again. On July 17th, PokerStars will hold their second $1 million freeroll. Proving yet again, they are the world's best online poker room. So how do you get to join in? Starting July 8th, all PokerStars players will have the opportunity to gain free entry into the freeroll. Each day, a new challenge will be issued. These are designed to be easy with challenges that could be as simple as playing a single hand in a cash game. All players who complete the daily challenge will earn an entry into one of 10 All in Shootout qualifiers. Each one qualifier will award 8,192 sets to the $1 million freeroll. As a bonus, 15,000 players who complete the daily Challenge on the Friday before the event will gain entry in to the freeroll. In order to start completing challenges, you must go to your cashier account and enable the challenges option. A total of 75,000 players will get paid in the $1 million freeroll, with a first place prize of $10,000. This will be the first of four scheduled $1 million free rolls from PokerStars in 2016.
