Upcoming Live Tournament Schedule

With the WSOP about to wind down, what's next for poker players to do? Does the poker world end once the WSOP concludes? Life does surprisingly go on, and in a pretty big way. Not tournament could ever garner the attention of the WSOP, but we still have a good selection of major tournaments to choose from.

One of the smaller events, but still considered a prestigious event to win, is the Florida State Poker Championship. Many of the events are smaller buy ins - some as low as $100. But, two of these events are over $1,000, and count towards the player of the year race.

The WPT returns to action on July 12th, running for 5 days, ending on the 17th. WPT National plays out in Brussels with a €750 buy in. Multiple starting days will culminate with the final table on July 17th.

Two days after the WPT event, we have one of the premiere events in Vegas after the WSOP - The Bellagio Cup XII. This is a 2 event tournament series with a $10,400 buy in main event. And a $2,140 buy in 3 days after the start of the main event.

The $10K is a 5-day event that will end on the 18th. As the name suggests, this event is held at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

Throughout most of July, we have small series such as the AUPT, APT and even smaller tournaments that are spread out across North America. It's no until the end of the month where we see a major tournament.

Starting on July 28th, the WPT comes back to North America with one of the bigger events on the tour - the WPT Legends of Poker. The event lasts more than a month starting July 28th, and ending on September 1st.

Many of the events are low buy ins starting at only $75. Up until August 12th, there isn't a buy in over $365. We see small break in play between the 12th and the 23rd when the series starts back up. The main event is held on August 27th with a $4,000 buy in and runs until September 1st.
