He would grow tired of his job and quit. During this time he found online poker. With a small deposit and no clue what he was doing, he turned $50 into $40,000 in just a few months. His deciding factor to make poker his new career was a win in the Sunday Millions at Poker Stars for $144,000.

Black Friday would force him to start playing live poker and it turned out to be a good thing. Shortly after focusing on live poker, he would place 4th in the LA Poker Classic WPT Event for $420,000. And only a few months later, he would win a gold bracelet at the WSOP in the $10,000 pot limit Hold Em event for another $573,000.

To date, Levahot has over $5.4 million in live tournament winnings. He's made 3 final tables of the WSOP and won over $4.4 million if his total winnings here.

His biggest accomplishment and biggest score to date was a final table appearance at the main event of the WSOP in 2013. He would end up in 3rd place and win over $3.7 million.

Other big scores for Amir include a 1st place at the Bay 101 Shooting Star side event for $140,000.

Amir has over $6 million in online and live poker winnings. He's only been playing for a short time and at the time of this writing (2015) he has already made a 4th final table at the WSOP. There's no doubt he will be winning more events and will see his total winnings rise.
