Andy Miller

Andy Miller is a professional poker player from Roseville in the United States. He has 31 total live tournament cashes with 4 major tittles to his name. He began playing professionally in 2003, traveling the United States poker circuit.

His first major cash was in 2003 when he final tabled a Pot Limit Omaha Event at the Festa Al Lago. He placed 2nd for $21,000. Since beginning play in 2003, he has won nearly $2 million in live tournament winnings. Andy is strictly a live player and has no online results to show.

In 2004, he would have see some real success. It didn't take long in the year before he found himself sitting with the best in the world. It was at the LA Poker Classic, a WPT stop where he made the final table of the $1,500 buy in limit hold em tournament.

He would best players like JC Tran and David Plastik to take home his first victory and almost $500,000 in cash.

In 2004, he would make 2 other final tables, both at the WPT. The second was in June of 2004 when he placed 2nd in a No Limit Hold em event at Festa Al Lago for $60,000. The 3rd final table of the year in a major event was the same WPT event. He entered the Championship event at Festa al Lago and won the whole thing for $665,000.

The final table was another tough one with top pros, Ken James, Allen Cunningham and 'Captain' Tom Franklin. The heads up match would face him against Hasan Habib, one of the best tournament players we've seen. But Miller showed his skills and won the event for his 2nd major championship of the year.

Since 2004, he's had a handful of final tables, but no major titles. He has a 3rd place at the Five Star Classic in 2006 for $59,000 and a 7th place at the 2005 Bay 101 Shooting Star Championship event for $160,000.

Along with his big wins at the WPT, he does have 5 cashes at the WSOP where he hasn't fared as well. He only has $32,000 in winnings at the WSOP. Meager compared to his millions won on the WPT. It's obvious he should stick to the WPT where he has won so much.
