Brandon Adams is a professional poker player/businessman. He was born in 1978 New Orleans LA. He currently resides in hometown if New Orleans. Who would leave New Orleans to live somewhere else?
Adams is possibly more known for his poker presence than anything else. However, he is a more successful businessman than he is a poker player. This isn't to say he is not an accomplished player in his own right.
Adams has won almost $1 million playing live tournaments. His first cash came in the 2005 WSOP. He's only been playing since this time and only part time to boot. Given his time spent at the tables compared to other pros, he could be considered an amateur. But not many amateurs win almost a million dollars playing poker.
Most of his winnings come at the WSOP be it a circuit event or the real deal. He has 12 cashes to go with 3 final tables at the WSOP. His total lifetime winnings at the WSOP are just over $650,000. His best finish as of 2014 was in the 2010 $10,000 buy in Stud event when he just missed his first bracelet by finishing 2nd to Men Nguyen.
Brandon has numerous cashes in the main event as well. His best was a 69th place finish in the 2007 Main Event for $130,000.
Brandon plays most games and does so with confidence and poise. He has cashes in Omaha events and Stud events as well as Hold Em. He's not just a hold em specialist. He's not just a tournament player. In fact he's more of a cash game player than anything else. He's a regular at the high stakes games wherever he travels and has been seen at the highest stakes games with some of the best in the world. Not just sitting, but playing and winning!
Adams first gained mainstream publicity when he was on Season 4 of High Stakes s Poker. The well-mannered, quiet Adams slowly and unwittingly to others built him a nice little stack. He played surprisingly well which only showed that he is no stranger to the high stakes world of poker.
Brandon's work outside of poker includes authoring numerous books and even starting a website. The site - 'Expert Insight.com' was a first on the web. It cost over $450,000 to build and connects people from all over the world, with experts in various fields of study. Everything from poker to physics has an expert ready to chat with.
People pay a fee that ranges from a few hundred to a few thousand and they can video chat with an expert in a field of their choosing. There are poker pros like Tom Dwan and Phil Ivey as well Noble Peace Prize winners a click away.
