One of the younger poker players on the tour is Jeff Williams. While he is 25 as of 2014, he looks like he could be 16. He was born 1986 in Dunwoody Georgia. He would attend the University of Georgia before later becoming a professional poker player.
Jeff was playing online cash games and tournaments before he was legally allowed but his talents for the game just couldn't be held back. He would have some good results online and decided to play a satellite on Poker Stars. He would qualify to enter the Second Season Finale of the EPT in Monte Carlo.
He was still underage to play legally in any casino in the USA at the time he qualified. At just 19, Jeff would fly across the world and play in the biggest event of his life.
2006 would show us just how good this little kid was. He would enter the Grand Final and eventually win the event. His victory was his best finish ever and he won $1.1 million. While many thought the kid was too young to play and was just a one hit wonder, he would later show this was not the case.
He wouldn't be able to play the WSOP until 2 years after his victory, but once he did he would show he was no kid. His first WSOP event in 2008 saw him make a final table and come very close to winning his second major in as many years. He would final the event number 5 and place 2nd for $400,000.
He has won over $2.1 million as of 2014. He's made 2 final tables at the WSOP and has 11 cashes for $832,000 in winnings.
In 2012 he would make another final table. This time it would be on the WPT Borgata Open. He placed 9th in the main event and made another $100,000. His win at the EPT would be his first of only 2 cashed son the EPT.
Jeff continues to play online and live. He's still very young and should be one of the highest earning players by the time his career is over.
