About PDC Poker

PDC Poker was launched in 2005 when it was originally known as Poker.com. They have since rebranded and re-launched in 2008 as part of the Merge Gaming Network. They share players with the other online poker sites within the network. This may not be a positive aspect for players who prefer standalone sites.

PDC Poker has a fair amount of players online and offers a slew of promotions and tournaments. The layout of each page on the website has a unique way of displaying the information with the use of pictures and glimpses of games, promotions, etc.

Licensing for PDC Poker was granted by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission.

Poker Games

The selection of games at PDC Poker is great with options such as Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, Euchre, H.O.R.S.E., Caribbean Stud, 7 Card Stud, 5 Card Stud, 5 Card Draw, Razz, Aces to Five Lowball, Deuce to Seven Lowball, Badugi, Blackjack, Roulette, Video Poker and Backgammon.

PDC Poker offers a series of tournaments such as freerolls, guaranteeds, live seat tournaments, bounty, shootouts, satellites, sit n go and ladies only.

Poker Bonuses and Promotions

New players receive an initial deposit bonus to get them started. Players will find that there are at least 15 - 20 promotional offers listed at any given time. The promotions vary and players should keep an eye on their promotions page for the latest offers available.

PDC Poker has launched Poker Training. Rake just $1 and opt-in to receive training from more than 30 coaches, access to a library of more than 1,000 training videos and forums. There are also promotions based on live tournaments such as World Series of Poker (WSOP) and Asia-Pacific Poker Tournaments (APPT) and World Poker Tournaments (WPT).

Royalty Rewards is PDC Poker's loyalty program for players. This is a five tier program which includes Diamonds, Spades, Hearts, Clubs and Royalty. Members of Royalty Rewards may redeem points for cash and the amount varies based on status. Points can also be used to buy-in to tournaments. As a VIP, players will also gain entry into special freeroll events and access the Royalty Store.

Conclusion

With all the promotional offers in combination with the Royalty Rewards program, there's no doubt that players are welcomed and appreciated. The variety of games is good with software to match. PDC Poker is a good option for players from the USA.
