It runs on the Microgaming poker network and is licensed by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta. Wild Jack was founded in November 1999 and has for over 10 years been providing a responsible gaming platform for online poker players.

All the popular variants of poker can be played at Wild Jack Poker. The most common ones are Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Five Card Stud and Seven Card Stud. One of the highlights of the Wild Jack Poker software is that most poker games can be played on a one-on-one or heads up basis. The rake taken by the online poker room is on par with the industry. The rake depends on the structure of the poker game, the number of players and the table stakes. Wild Jack Poker offers a poker school known as Poker 101, especially for new players. Apart from giving the detailed rules of each poker variant the school explains the common poker terms.

Online poker tournaments are the forte of Wild Jack poker. A large variety of tournaments run round the clock. Most of the tournaments offer guaranteed prize pools that range from $1,500 to $175,000. The buy ins for these tournaments range from $3.50 to $110. The most popular of the poker tournaments is the $175,000 Guaranteed NL, which is held every Sunday. Qualifiers for this event are held throughout the preceding week. Some special formats of the poker tournaments are Bounty and Turbo. Many tournaments are held in the 6-handed tables format. The Sit and Go Rounder Tournaments follow a format unique to Wild Jack Poker. It is played over five rounds. In the preliminary rounds, some of the players progress to the next round, some are eliminated and some get to replay that round. Wild Jack Poker holds online satellite tournaments for major live events like the EPT tournaments and the Irish Open.

New players who join Wild Jack Poker are entitled to an attractive welcome bonus. Players have to make a minimum first deposit of $100. Then they have to accumulate 500 raked hands in the first 30 days. Those new players who meet these conditions will receive 25% back on the first deposit subject to an upper limit of $100. Regular players earn loyalty points for participating in cash games and tournaments. For cash games the loyalty points depend on the table stakes and for the tournaments the loyalty points depend on the buy ins. Loyalty points can then be used to pay the buy ins for certain online poker tournaments.

Wild Jack Poker provides a secure environment for financial transactions through the use of 128-bit Secure Socket Layer Digital Encryption. Players can deposit and withdraw funds using credit cards from MasterCard, Visa and Diners and using electronic wallets like Neteller, Click2Pay, Instadebit and UseMyBank.
